Have you ever thought about being part of a Preachers Cohort? . . .

 

About becoming part of a group, that can help you become a more effective communicator of God’s Word?

 

I’m Yancey Valdez, Director of the Oregon School of Ministry.

 

And we are reaching out to all of our pastors, preachers and students about an upcoming One Day Preachers Cohort, we will be hosting in partnership, with the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. 

 

This event, will be taking place on Saturday, September 6th, from 8am-4pm, at the Oregon Ministry Network Offices. 

 

The idea behind this Cohort involves bringing our pastors, preachers and students together, for a focused learning experience; to dive deep into the art of preaching, sharpen our skills, and be inspired as OSOM & AGTS partner together, to help us become more effective communicators of God’s Word.

 

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬, says this:‬

 

 

Wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to get together with a few other preachers —your peers— maybe once a quarter, to not only sharpen your ax, but to work on a message series together?

 

To brainstorm, share ideas, encourage and inspire one another in sermon preparation, content, and delivery? 

 

Or in how to give people, an appropriate call to action, in response to what God might be speaking into their lives, through your message?

 

I’m so excited about the possibilities, of what could happen as a result of this One Day Preachers Cohort, that I want to invite you to come and let God do something special amongst us.
